How to Choose a Sim Racing Wheel: GT3, F1 and Endurance Explained
Compartir
Choosing a sim racing wheel comes down to three things: the kind of racing you do, the wheelbase you run, and how much control you want in your hands. Here is how to pick.
GT3 sim racing wheels
GT3-style wheels are the popular all-rounders. A round or flat-bottom rim with rotary knobs for ABS, traction control and brake bias suits iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Gran Turismo. If you race a mix of GT cars, start here. Examples in our range include the 992 Cup, 720S and AMR GT3.
F1 and formula sim racing wheels
Formula wheels pack maximum control density at your fingertips — a telemetry screen, dozens of programmable buttons and dual clutch paddles for the perfect getaway. They are built for open-wheel championships. Look at the RB F1 Pro and SF70.
Endurance and hypercar wheels
LMP and hypercar wheels add larger displays, more RGB LEDs and multi-mode clutches for managing the car over long stints. The LM Hypercar, LMP and F 499P are built for this.
Will it fit your wheelbase?
Most quality sim racing wheels mount to Moza, Simagic, Fanatec and other direct drive bases via a 70mm bolt pattern and a quick release. Check your base and quick release before buying — or email us your setup and we will confirm it.
Why carbon fiber and CNC aluminum matter
Beyond looks, a full carbon fiber faceplate keeps the wheel light and rigid, while CNC-machined aluminum components and magnetic paddle shifters give the precise, repeatable feel that builds real muscle memory.
